  • Data Subject Rights (Section 16, DPA 2012): You and your guests hold the right to be informed, right to access, right to object, and the right to erasure or blocking (right to be forgotten).
  • Automatic Storage Limitation & Purge: Pursuant to data minimization principles, events and their physical uploaded photos are subject to automated data lifecycle retention rules. When an event reaches its scheduled expiration or is deleted by the host, all associated database records and physical image files are permanently purged from the server.

Governing Statute: Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines)

Ownership: The original copyright and intellectual property rights in photographs uploaded to SnapCast remain with the respective photographer or guest who captured the image.

Limited License Granted: By uploading photos to an event gallery, you grant the event host and SnapCast a limited, revocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license solely for the following purposes:

  • Storing and hosting the photograph on platform servers for the event duration;
  • Projecting the photograph onto the event's live slideshow and digital photo wall;
  • Allowing event organizers and authorized guests to view and download photos for commemorative and personal use.

SnapCast does not claim commercial ownership or copyright of your personal photographs.

6 Event Organizer Responsibilities & Moderation

Organizers (Hosts) maintain administrative control over their created galleries. By hosting an event, you agree to:

  • Exercise responsible moderation by using the Host Console to review, approve, reject, or delete inappropriate guest contributions;
  • Inform event guests that a live projection gallery and digital QR code are in operation;
  • Promptly utilize the "Ban Guest" or "End Event" functions if abuse, harassment, or lewd uploads occur;

SnapCast provides transparent digital subscription plans (including Free Starter, Pro, and Enterprise tiers). Active event slots, photo upload allowances, cloud storage limits, and event retention periods are governed by the selected plan specifications.

SnapCast reserves the right to manage server infrastructure load and enforce storage limits. Misuse, simulated API flooding, or fraudulent subscription manipulation will result in immediate suspension.
