1. Electronic Contract & Assent (R.A. 8792 - E-Commerce Act of 2000)

By registering an account, you enter into a legally binding electronic agreement pursuant to Republic Act No. 8792. Clicking "Verify Email & Sign Up" has the same legal force and effect as a physical signature under Philippine law.

2. Data Privacy & Storage Limitation (R.A. 10173 - Data Privacy Act of 2012)

SnapCast adheres to the National Privacy Commission (NPC) principles of Transparency, Legitimate Purpose, and Proportionality:

We collect your username, Gmail address, and encrypted credentials solely for authentication and service provision.
Automated Data Purge: When an event reaches its scheduled expiration date or is manually deleted by the host, all physical image files and associated database records are permanently deleted from our servers.
You maintain the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time.

3. Prohibition of Photo Voyeurism & CSAEM (R.A. 9995 & R.A. 9775)

We enforce strict zero-tolerance policies regarding illegal media:

Anti-Photo Voyeurism (R.A. 9995): Capturing, broadcasting, or sharing photos of private areas or sexual acts without written consent is a criminal offense punishable by 3 to 7 years imprisonment.
Child Protection (R.A. 9775): Any upload of child exploitation material leads to immediate termination and reporting to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) and NBI.

4. Safe Spaces & Anti-Harassment (R.A. 11313 & R.A. 10175)

Pursuant to the Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law) and the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, gender-based online harassment, lewd comments, cyberstalking, and system sabotage are strictly forbidden.

5. Intellectual Property & Media Rights (R.A. 8293)

Photographers retain copyright over their original photos. Uploading photos grants SnapCast and the event host a limited, non-exclusive license solely for hosting, live event projection, and attendee commemoration.

6. Governing Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal disputes shall be brought solely before the competent courts of the Philippines.
